We are seeking a dedicated Outreach Recovery Worker to play a key role in engaging clients who face challenges accessing services. This is a hands-on, community-based role that requires compassion, persistence and a deep commitment to equity and inclusion. You will manage a small active caseload, connecting quickly with clients and ensuring they're always treated with respect and dignity. You will complete assessments, provide harm reduction advice and work with small groups and drop ins across the city in various locations.

If you're someone who enjoys variety, independence, collaborative working and seeing the real impact of your work, our Stoke service could be the perfect place for you to grow your career and change lives.

This is a fixed term position until 31/03/2029, working 37.5 hours per week. There will be some Saturday working on a rota basis to meet the needs of the service. As this role will involve community-based work, a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required.

As a Recovery Worker, we offer a starting salary of £26,250 per annum, rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, to £30,900 per annum.

We're looking for a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. You will have demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, or a clear motivation for wanting to work in the drug and alcohol sector. A successful track record of providing efficient and reliable customer service is essential. Due to the nature of the role a driving license and access to a vehicle is an essential requirement.

You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage your time effectively. You will work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do and has a positive and engaging approach to our clients and key stakeholders.

Join our team as an Outreach Recovery Worker in Stoke-on-Trent.
