Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Outpatient Booking Officer to coordinate Dermatology and Plastic Surgery appointments and support new and existing systems.

You will provide excellent customer service to patients and stakeholders, manage the call centre, arrange and reschedule appointments, and liaise with clinical admins and consultants to ensure smooth scheduling.

The role requires clear communication and organised teamwork to help the Trust meet targets.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating outpatient appointments or similar administrative duties.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with clear telephone etiquette.
• Organised and able to manage prioritisation in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Arrange appointments over the telephone with patients.
• Manage Dermatology and Plastics call centre operations.
• Book patient appointments from waiting lists.
• Reschedule and cancel appointments as required.
• Liaise with clinical admin, consultants, and CNS teams to ensure smooth scheduling.
