Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinic Receptionist and Administration Officer to provide outpatient administration and main reception support at the Ilkeston site. The role involves 7am–7pm weekend shifts, data entry on Lorenzo, SystmOne and PAS, and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely patient care.

Good communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient/administration environment.
• Strong data recording and documentation skills.
• Ability to work 7am–7pm on Saturdays and Sundays on a roster.
• Excellent communication within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient administration and main reception services.
• Record data using Lorenzo, SystmOne and PAS.
• Prepare case notes and ensure data is coded for retrieval.
• Arrange follow-up appointments and generate correspondence for the Trust data collection.
• Handle cash processing and incoming mail as part of reception duties.
