Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Cornwall is seeking a motivated Band 5 nurse to join the busy Outpatient Team at Camborne Redruth Community Hospital (CRCH). The 34-hour post is spread over four days, 8am–5pm, with occasional late stays rotated in advance.

You will work across Outpatient and Day Services, including Nurse Led Wound Management, Transfusion and Infusion Service, Phototherapy clinics and general Outpatient clinics.

Qualifications

• Current professional registration - NMC.
• Supervisor/assessor training or equivalent.
• Desirable: experience in outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient services aligning with organisational objectives.
• Develop knowledge to be confident in all areas of outpatient care.
• Provide a welcoming, caring and safe environment for patients and carers.
• Promote good interpersonal relationships with users of outpatient services.
• Develop clinical skills to provide evidence-based nursing care.
• Support IV therapy, wound care and related clinics; supervise junior staff.
