Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Band 5 Staff Nurse for Outpatient and Day Services in Redruth. The role covers the full outpatient team across Camborne Redruth Community Hospital, with wound management, transfusion and infusion service, and phototherapy clinics.

IV therapy experience is an advantage. The post is 34 hours per week over 4 days, with some late shifts on a rota basis.

Qualifications

• Current professional registration – NMC.
• Supervisor/assessor training or equivalent.
• Previous nursing experience in an Outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the delivery of Outpatient services reflecting patient experience and organisational objectives.
• Maintain welcoming, caring and safe environment for patients and carers.
• Develop and maintain clinical skills for evidence-based nursing care in Outpatient Services.
• Provide treatment and support for patients with wound care needs and IV therapy.
• Support junior staff and students in Outpatient care.
