Job summary

Leaders in Care seeks an experienced Outpatient Nurse to join a busy private outpatient setting in the UK. You will deliver high-quality care, support safe clinic flow, and use clinical judgement daily, with autonomy across outpatient care, pre-assessment and wound care.

You will work independently as the sole clinician on site, with scope to develop wound care and assessment skills. This role offers stability, structured hours and an on-call contribution.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with wound care experience and the ability to work independently.
• Competent in venepuncture and ECGs.
• Pre-assessment experience desirable; telephone-based on-call duties can be managed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient nursing care, including post-operative calls, wound care and pre-operative assessments.
• Carry out venepuncture, ECGs, baseline observations and required clinical paperwork.
• Support clinic running, admission checks, surgeon coordination and escalation of clinical concerns.
• Maintain compliance with CQC, infection control, health and safety and audit requirements.

Package & Benefits

• £35,000 per annum.
• 40 hours per week, 5 days per week.
• Monday to Friday working at present, with potential future weekend cover.
• On-call rota twice per month, paid an additional £35 per day completed.
• Telephone-only on-call, with no travel required.
