Job summary

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a BAS Hub Booking Specialist to support outpatient services. You will manage patient enquiries by phone and email, book, reschedule and cancel appointments, and maintain accurate patient records across EPR, eRS, DrDr and other systems.

Working as part of the Bookings Administration Service, you will assist clinicians with appointment-related requests, support interpreters, coordinate communications, and contribute to service

Qualifications

• Handling phone calls and emails from patients and providing helpful information.
• Booking, rescheduling and cancelling outpatient appointments.
• Maintaining accurate patient information across electronic systems (EPR, eRS, DrDr, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Handle and respond to patient enquiries by phone and email.
• Book, reschedule and cancel outpatient appointments.
• Maintain and update patient records across EPR, eRS and DrDr.
• Arrange interpreters and alternate communication formats as needed.
• Support clinicians with appointment-related requests and quick turnaround times.
• Support staff training and participate in team briefings.
