Job summary

Ceredigion County Council is recruiting a Parking Services Officer to cover parking management, road safety and local engagement across the county. The role involves patrolling sites, assisting with parking equipment and providing practical guidance to residents and visitors.

You will monitor compliance, issue notices where appropriate and act as a friendly ambassador for the council, promoting safety and accessibility in busy town centres and tourist areas.

Responsibilities

• Patrol on-street and off-street parking locations across Ceredigion.
• Maintain safe, accessible roads, streets and car parks.
• Support operation of Council car parks and parking equipment.
• Identify and report issues affecting parking facilities and traffic management.
• Provide guidance to residents, businesses and visitors.
• Monitor parking compliance and issue Penalty Charge Notices.
• Represent the Council professionally in communities.
