Job summary

Ridgway Rentals Ltd is seeking a Customer Outreach Representative to generate new business opportunities by making outbound contact with potential customers, qualifying their needs and passing warm leads to the sales team.

You will re-engage lapsed accounts, support existing customers with follow-up enquiries and maintain accurate records in the hire management software, with a focus on delivering measurable growth in a busy plant hire business.

Qualifications

• Confident and personable telephone manner.
• Clear written communication and attention to detail.
• Organised, self-motivated and target-driven.
• Comfortable learning new software and systems.
• Experience in outbound sales or customer service roles.
• Knowledge of plant hire, construction or related trades (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities by making outbound calls and sending emails to prospective customers.
• Research target companies and identify decision makers such as site managers and buyers.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotes and marketing campaigns promptly.
• Keep accurate records in hire management software and report on pipeline progress.
• Re-engage lapsed customers and cross-sell services when appropriate.
