FMC Talent's client is a specialist orthopaedics company focused on joint replacement, supporting surgeons, theatre teams and patients with best‑in‑class products across NHS and private hospitals.

You’ll own a UK territory, drive new business and grow existing accounts, delivering hands‑on clinical and product support during procedures and demonstrations, and coordinating with Clinical Specialists for case coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience selling surgical medical devices within orthopaedics.
• Understanding of UK surgical market and NHS purchasing.
• Ability to build credibility with surgeons, theatre teams and procurement.
• Enjoy developing new business and supporting established accounts.
• Confident presenting technical information and managing negotiations.
• Able to organize territory independently and collaborate with Clinical Specialists.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• DBS/PVG checks held or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Developing a territory plan to achieve sales targets and identify opportunities for growth.
• Winning new accounts and building existing relationships with surgeons, theatre teams and procurement.
• Demonstrating the orthopaedic portfolio and explaining its clinical and commercial value.
• Providing technical and clinical support during surgical procedures when required.
• Working with Clinical Specialists to coordinate customer and case coverage.
• Preparing proposals, managing pricing discussions and negotiating opportunities through to close.
• Delivering customer education through demonstrations, journal clubs and industry events.
• Maintaining accurate account plans and forecasts, using customer feedback and market insight to inform your approach.
