Job description
A look into the role

As a Procurement Lead Functional Consultant within our Enterprise Applications practice, you will:

  • Lead the Procurement solution definition and delivery in collaboration with senior sales and delivery leaders, designing specific client solutions using your knowledge of Oracle Procurement Cloud functionality.
  • Engage in the detail of Procurement solutions as a specialist implementation consultant, leading teams and delivering specialist activity where required.
  • Take responsibility for all functional aspects of an Oracle Cloud Procurement implementation, supporting project technical teams and owning interactions with senior customer stakeholders to build relationships that buy into your solution vision.
  • Be part of the Enterprise Applications Practice team, taking a key role in ERP solution teams (including onshore and offshore consultants) in the implementation of your ERP and particularly Procurement solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with the EA practice leaders in defining solutions and with Project Managers, Solutions Architects and implementation consultants in the delivery of customer projects.
  • Build an internal and external brand as an established leader for Oracle Cloud Procurement solutions, aligned to your success within the leading enterprise solutions team at Grant Thornton.
Knowing you’re right for us

Joining us as a Procurement Lead, the minimum criteria you’ll need is:

  • Relevant Oracle certification in Cloud Procurement and multiple years’ experience in similar consulting/project roles, covering both successful project delivery and related sales/practice development activity.
  • Experience as an Oracle Procurement Cloud implementation lead consultant, with strong functional delivery and solution design skills.
  • Larger Oracle Cloud ERP/SCM experience, with certification and project implementation across multiple modules.
  • Experience building lasting relationships with C‑level and senior solution stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to convince customers of your solution vision in sales and delivery processes.
  • Project delivery experience encompassing leadership, oversight, and individual contributor responsibilities.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed, primarily within the UK and occasionally globally.

We would love it if you also had skills such as: broader Oracle Cloud ERP/SCM experience, experience in building lasting relationships with C‑level stakeholders, and willingness to travel globally as needed.
