Job summary

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care is seeking a Sales Advisor to be the first point of contact for customers in store. You will help customers choose optical and hearing products, provide expert advice on frames, lenses and hearing care, and process sales in a busy, friendly environment.

The role is full time and maternity cover, with a welcoming team and generous staff discounts. Training is provided from day one, with clear opportunities for progression within the company.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable attitude and strong communication skills.
• Customer service or retail experience is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work in a team or independently and use own initiative.
• Basic IT skills and strong attention to detail are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with warmth and professionalism.
• Assist customers in selecting optical and hearing products.
• Provide advice on frame styles, lenses, and hearing care.
• Process sales and bookings using in-branch systems.
• Support stock management and merchandising.
• Keep the store clean, welcoming and well presented.
• Collaborate with Optometrists and Hearing Aid Audiologists to ensure a seamless customer journey.
