Job summary

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care is seeking a Sales Advisor to be the first contact for customers, helping them choose products and services that improve their lives.

You will work with the team to greet customers warmly, offer expert advice on optical and hearing solutions, and process bookings. The role supports stock, merchandising, and a seamless customer journey within a welcoming, family-run environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable attitude and strong communication skills.
• Customer service or retail experience is preferred but not essential.
• Basic IT skills and attention to detail are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and professionally.
• Assist customers in selecting optical and hearing products.
• Provide clear advice on frame styles, lenses, and hearing care.
• Process sales and bookings using in-branch systems.
• Support stock management and merchandising.
• Keep the store clean, welcoming and well presented.
• Collaborate with Optometrists, Hearing Aid Audiologists and the wider team.
