Job summary

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care is seeking a Sales Advisor to be the welcoming first point of contact for customers, helping them choose optical and hearing solutions. You will greet customers, provide informed guidance on frames and lenses, and process sales using in-branch systems.

The role offers full training, staff discounts on products, and clear career pathways into senior sales, management, or clinical roles within a family-run company.

Qualifications

Friendly, approachable attitude and strong communication skills.
Customer service or retail experience preferred but not essential.
Able to work as part of a team and independently, using own initiative.
Basic IT skills and strong attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

Greet customers with warmth and professionalism.
Assist customers in selecting optical and hearing products.
Provide clear advice on frame styles, lenses, and hearing care.
Process sales and bookings using in-branch systems.
Support stock management and merchandising.
Keep the store clean, welcoming and well presented.
Collaborate with Optometrists, Hearing Aid Audiologists and branch team for a seamless journey.
