Job summary

Boots Opticians is hiring an Assistant Manager to lead a diverse team and partner with the Store Manager to execute the commercial plan, strengthening the customer journey across the store.

You will be involved in customer service, store operations and clinical activities including patient pre-screening and dispensing, with opportunities to develop clinical knowledge and leadership skills through internal training programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Led or coached a team.
• Desire to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team to deliver an exemplary customer journey.
• Work across the store managing operations and clinical activities such as patient pre-screening, dispensing and accuracy checks.
• Create and maintain rotas and complete performance management tasks.
• Support career development and coaching for staff.
