Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a diverse team and deliver an outstanding customer journey. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to execute the commercial plan, oversee store operations and clinical activities, and develop staff through coaching and training.

This role requires GOC registration, prior customer-facing experience and a proactive, learning mindset. A structured development path and leadership training are provided to help you grow within Boots

Qualifications

• GOC registered
• Experience in a customer-facing role
• Desire to learn
• Led or coached a team

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team to deliver an exemplary customer journey
• Work across the store including customer service, operations and clinical activities (pre‑screening, dispensing, accuracy checks)
• Create and maintain rotas and conduct performance reviews
• Support the Store Manager to implement the commercial plan and develop colleagues’ skills
