Job summary

Specsavers East Grinstead is looking for a friendly Optical Assistant to welcome customers, assist with eyewear selections and guide them through services. The role includes opportunities for comprehensive training and development with support from experienced Opticians and Technicians.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them with their needs as they enter the store.
• Assist customers with products, services and fittings and answer questions.
• Support qualified Opticians and Technicians to ensure a smooth customer journey.

Our store

Specsavers East Grinstead is a modern opticians and audiology store located on London Road in the heart of the town. The store offers comprehensive eye tests, contact lens services, OCT eye scans, children's eye care, and professional hearing services, including hearing tests and hearing aid fittings. With a friendly, experienced team and a wide selection of glasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses, the store is dedicated to providing high-quality eye and hearing care alongside excellent customer service.
