Job summary

Specsavers Hailsham is seeking an Optical Assistant who is caring, customer-focused and eager to grow within optical and hearing services. You’ll welcome customers, provide support with eyewear and hearing-care solutions, and benefit from extensive training and development with experienced Optometrists and Dispensing professionals.

The role offers a friendly team, a 40-hour week including weekends, no late shifts, pension enrollment, and access to Specsavers Perks and Headspace.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Our store

Specsavers Hailsham is a customer-focused opticians providing professional eye-care and hearing services to the local community. The store offers comprehensive eye examinations, sight tests, contact lens consultations and fittings, as well as the dispensing and fitting of glasses and sunglasses. The team also provides hearing tests and hearing-care services, combining clinical expertise with friendly, personalised customer service to help customers find the right products and solutions for their individual needs.

With experienced Optometrists, dedicated Dispensing professionals, and a supportive retail team, the store offers a collaborative environment where everyone works together to provide the best possible care. What’s on offer?

• Up to £12.91 per hour depending on Optical experience
