Job summary

Specsavers Horley is looking for an Optical Assistant to welcome and assist customers, supporting the optical team with day-to-day tasks in a busy store.

You will work alongside Opticians and Technicians, receive professional training, and have access to a range of Specsavers benefits, including pension enrollment and discounts. This role also offers development across hearing and eye care services as part of your career progression.

Specsavers Horley is a welcoming opticians and audiology store located in the town centre. The store provides eye examinations, contact lens services, OCT eye scans, children\'s eye care, and professional hearing services, including hearing tests and hearing aid support. With an experienced team and a wide range of glasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses, Specsavers Horley is committed to delivering high-quality eye and hearing care with friendly, personalised service.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include confidently welcoming and assisting customers, contributing to a high standard of customer service, and supporting the optical team with day-to-day tasks. You will work with Opticians and Technicians and participate in training and development opportunities to grow your career within the store.

Desirable experience

Desirable experience that could set you apart includes:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
• Experience in optics or Audiology business
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology
