Job summary

Specsavers Westwood Cross is seeking an Optical Assistant who greets customers, provides friendly help, and supports the team in a busy eyewear environment. You will receive comprehensive training and have access to development across various business areas with the guidance of experienced Opticians and Technicians.

The role offers opportunities to grow your career within Specsavers, with a strong focus on customer care, NHS and private exams, contact lens fittings and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and assists customers as they walk through the store, ensuring a positive and informed experience.
• Participates in training and development opportunities to progress in the optical/eyewear and audiology fields.

Located within the popular Westwood Cross Shopping Centre, Specsavers Westwood Cross is a busy, modern store committed to delivering outstanding eye and hearing care. The store offers a comprehensive range of services, including NHS and private eye examinations, contact lens fittings and aftercare, children's eye care, enhanced eye health services, hearing tests, hearing aids and ongoing audiology support. With an extensive selection of frames, lenses and hearing solutions, our friendly and experienced team is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and clinical care to every patient.
