Job summary

Together is seeking an Operational Trainer to support onboarding and development across our Operations teams in the UK. You will ensure new recruits gain essential knowledge and skills using the 70:20:10 model, contributing to colleague academies and the Together framework.

You will collaborate with Risk, Central Talent and Development, HR and recruitment to design learning journeys, monitor progress, and drive improvements across training programmes to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering training, preferably in financial services or regulated environments.
• Strong onboarding process knowledge and adult learning principles.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Able to analyse performance data and provide actionable feedback.
• Experience designing training materials and programmes.
• Collaborative with stakeholders across Risk, Talent, HR and Operations.
• Apply the 70:20:10 model in learning journeys.
• Maintain alignment with wider learning strategy across teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging onboarding programmes for new colleagues.
• Ensure understanding of processes, systems and compliance.
• Help recruits achieve competence within set timeframes.
• Collaborate with Risk, Talent, HR and Development to design academies.
• Deliver structured programmes with coaching and feedback.
• Improve content based on feedback and priorities.
• Track progress during onboarding and academy phases.
• Provide insights to improve recruitment decisions.
