Job summary

SCC is seeking an Operations Team Leader – Refurbishment in Birmingham. The role leads the Refurbishment Services team, coordinating refurbishment, testing, grading and repair to maximise asset value while ensuring compliance and quality. Hybrid working allows a mix of office and home-based duties.

The role focuses on achieving customer OLA/SLA commitments, driving continuous improvement, data sanitisation, and safeguarding asset security throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a similar operational role.
• Must have excellent reporting skills.
• Must have excellent people management skills.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Refurbishment Services team, providing day-to-day direction and operational leadership.
• Oversee refurbishment, testing, grading, repair and cosmetic restoration activities for efficient processing.
• Plan and schedule workloads, staffing and resources to meet OLA, SLA and project commitments.
• Ensure assets are refurbished, configured, cleaned, tested and packaged to high quality standards.
• Maximise asset recovery and resale value through effective grading and refurbishment decisions.
