Job summary

SCC is seeking a Team Leader for Goods In and Warehouse (AM Shift) in Birmingham. You will lead the Goods In and warehouse team, ensure accurate recording, stock integrity and smooth operations within the facility while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong people management, clear communication, and the ability to plan tasks, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with service desks and other teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar goods-in/warehouse supervisory role.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management.
• Ability to ensure accuracy and traceability of goods.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe loading/unloading and ensure documentation is completed.
• Maintain quality control and system accuracy for customer IT equipment entering and leaving the facility.
• Maintenance checks on all mechanical handling equipment (FLT’s, PPT’s, etc.).
• Conduct regular stock counts to ensure accuracy of stockholding.
• Schedule work for the team and meet OLA/SLA targets.
• Lead the team to achieve KPIs and maximise productivity while maintaining quality.
• Deliver SLA targets and coordinate with the Service Desk to meet customer requirements.
• Deliver training on processes and procedures to ensure compliance with policies.
• Ensure staff maintain high security awareness.
• Promote continuous improvement and a professional service mindset.
• Attend Team Leader meetings and cascade information to the team.
