Job summary

DOC Cleaning Limited is seeking a proactive, hands-on Operations Support Manager to oversee service delivery across up to 10 high-end client sites, spanning Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, and Newcastle. Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop cleaning teams across up to 10 sites.
• Support onboarding, induction and training of new employees.
• Ensure cleaning standards across each site, including storerooms and equipment management.
• Conduct monthly site visits and audits; increase frequency where needed.
• Monitor staffing, attendance and service delivery to ensure sufficient resources.
• Resolve client issues and escalate risks when necessary.
• Provide hands-on cleaning support during absences or busy periods.
• Oversee deep-cleaning and restorative work with specialist equipment.
• Assist with recruitment to maintain staffing levels.
• Oversee subcontracted services and ensure safety and standards.
• Coordinate with Account Administration to manage work orders and service information.
• Build strong relationships with clients and site teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Operations Support Manager to oversee service delivery across a compact portfolio of high-end client sites. This role covers up to 10 sites across Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, and Newcastle.

This is a fully site-based, multi-site position. You will lead and develop cleaning teams, maintain consistently high standards, carry out regular site audits and deliver hands-on deep-cleaning and restorative work when required.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day service across your portfolio. This will include ensuring sites are properly staffed, monitoring attendance and performance, responding to client requirements and resolving operational issues quickly and effectively.

You will be a key point of contact for our site-based teams and clients. You will build strong working relationships, take ownership of issues through to resolution and identify opportunities to improve standards and service delivery.

This role would suit an experienced multi-site supervisor or cleaning manager who is comfortable working independently, enjoys taking responsibility and is willing to remain practically involved in cleaning operations.

Key Responsbilities

• Lead, support and develop cleaning teams across up to 10 sites.
• Support the onboarding, induction and training of new employees.
• Take ownership of cleaning standards across each site, including storerooms, equipment and chemical management.
• Complete planned site visits and documented audits at least monthly, increasing the frequency where additional support is required.
• Monitor staffing, attendance and service delivery to ensure sites are appropriately resourced.
• Identify and resolve service or client issues, completing corrective actions and escalating wider risks when necessary.
• Provide hands-on cleaning support, including absence cover and additional assistance at busy sites.
• Carry out planned periodic, deep-cleaning and restorative work using specialist cleaning equipment.
• Support recruitment activity to fill vacancies promptly and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Oversee specialist and subcontracted services, ensuring work is completed safely and to the required standard.
• Work closely with the Account Administration team to manage work orders, actions and service information.
• Build effective working relationships with clients, site representatives and operational colleagues.
• Identify practical opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and the overall client experience.

About You
