Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking an Operations Manager for our Chingford Fitness & Wellbeing Club. You will bring an operational background in leisure or hospitality and manage performance while leading teams to improve standards and deliver exceptional member experiences.

The role requires a National Pool Lifeguard Qualified Assessor and ideally a health and safety qualification. Fixed-term, full-time, 40 hours per week with a competitive£ salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Operational background in the leisure or hospitality industry.
• Track record in managing performance, improving potential and leading teams.
• Ideally holds a health and safety qualification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure we meet health and safety legislation, and internal audit requirements.
• Support the General Manager with technical support and guidance.
• Continually improve site standards.
• Embed a sales mentality into the duty management and reception teams.
• Nurture our teams' confidence and pride to help them promote our services to members.
• Recruit and develop the colleagues that will help us deliver our quality and commercial goals.
