Job summary

Nuffield Health Birmingham Rubery Club is seeking an Operations Manager to lead site performance in our fitness and wellbeing environment. You’ll ensure health and safety compliance, support the General Manager, and drive continuous improvement and a positive member experience.

You’ll recruit and develop the duty management and reception teams, embed a sales mindset, and help promote services to members. A background in leisure or hospitality and a health and safety qualification are preferred.

Qualifications

• National Pool Lifeguard Qualified Assessor status would be advantageous
• Health and safety qualification preferred
• Experience in leisure or hospitality operations

Responsibilities

• Ensure we meet health and safety legislation, and internal audit requirements
• Support the General Manager with technical support and guidance
• Continually improve site standards
• Embed a sales mentality into the duty management and reception teams

As an Operations Manager at our Birmingham Rubery Club, you'll bring an operational background in the leisure or hospitality industry. You're a National Pool Lifeguard Qualified Assessor with a track record in managing performance, improving potential and leading teams. Ideally, you hold a health and safety qualification.

As an Operations Manager, you will:

• Ensure we meet health and safety legislation, and internal audit requirements
