The successful Operations Manager will have responsibility to ensure the smooth running of operations across the company, including managing your team leaders in production, supply chain, inventory management, and logistics. You will enhance working practices, improve interdepartmental cohesion, and increase efficiencies throughout the business.

The role will involve:

• Liaising with the Managing Director to ensure that all team members are being trained and onboarded to a high standard, particularly in relation to Sage200 and the integration and use of MRP.
• Appraising members of staff on a bi-annual basis
• Ensuring that all teams maintain a healthy and positive attitude and culture to the work tasks, processes, and procedures.
• Liaising with the Managing Director and relevant managers to ensure targets, metrics and KPIs (where applicable) are being set, monitored and met by staff members.
• Champion and implement the Sage 200 MRP capabilities across operations.
• Work with Sales to create a sales & operations plan/forecast that drives materials and production requirements.
• Oversees all production and packaging lines and ensures efficient running of those production requirements.
• Supply chain & inventory management, ensuring the company's investment in materials is optimized via price and inventory management best practices. You will liase with the Senior Management Team to ensure materials are managed in accordance with the company's resource availability.
