Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in warehouse/logistics.

• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring customer service levels and operational KPIs are consistently achieved.
• Develop, coach and inspire Supervisors and colleagues to maximise performance and engagement.
• Drive a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements.
• Monitor performance, analyze data and implement improvements to boost productivity and quality.
• Build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure excellence and satisfaction.
• Manage labour planning and resources to meet changing business demands.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean methodologies and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all processes, quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Support delivery of business objectives through planning, problem solving and decision making.

Job Description

Location: Corby
Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Your Tasks:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring customer service levels and operational KPIs are consistently achieved.
• Develop, coach and inspire your Operations Supervisorsand operational colleagues to maximise performance and engagement.
• Drive a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Monitor operational performance, analysing data and implementing improvement initiatives to increase productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Build effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Manage labour planning and resource allocation to meet changing business demands.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean methodologies and best practice principles.
• Ensure compliance with all operational processes, quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Support the delivery of business objectives through effective planning, problem solving and decision making.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience in an Operations Manager role within a warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment.
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to coach, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience managing KPIs, SLAs and customer expectations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
• Experience of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
• A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
