Job summary

Arvato Corby is seeking a Control Tower Operator to join our Corby team in a fast-paced logistics environment. The role coordinates operational activity, identifies issues and ensures service levels are met, with daily focus on keeping operations running smoothly.

You'll work across warehouse, transport, planning and management, monitor KPIs, maintain records, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, all in a fully onsite, Monday–Friday setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operational activity and performance across the site.
• Coordinate and prioritise workflows to support the smooth running of the operation.
• Identify operational issues, delays and exceptions and take appropriate action within SAP WMS.
• Work closely with warehouse, transport, planning and management teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor KPIs and operational data, highlighting trends and areas requiring attention.
• Maintain accurate records and provide clear and timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Support the investigation and resolution of operational problems.
• Ensure processes and procedures are followed consistently.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.

Job Description

Location: Arvato Corby
Salary: Up to £30,293.62 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent
Working pattern: Fully onsite

Are you organised, analytical and confident working in a fast-paced logistics environment? Arvato is looking for a Control Tower Operator to join our Corby team and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

As a Control Tower Operator, you'll act as a central point of coordination, monitoring operational activity, identifying issues and working with colleagues across the operation to ensure service levels and customer requirements are consistently achieved.

What you'll be doing:

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and solution-focused, with excellent attention to detail.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in a logistics, warehouse, transport, supply chain or environment.
• Experience on WMS SAP- essential
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and other operational systems.
• The ability to analyse information and identify issues quickly.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• A calm and professional approach when working under pressure.
• The confidence to communicate with colleagues at all levels.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
