Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in the UK offers an internship in the Wing manufacturing area at Broughton, with exposure to multiple departments and hands-on data analysis opportunities. The role emphasizes process improvement, cost awareness and collaboration across teams.

You will report to operational management and work on projects spanning budgeting, lean initiatives, stock control and supplier coordination, while developing project management skills during a 12.5-month placement.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.
• Studying towards a degree in Business or Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Interest in data analysis and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with finance management including budgeting and forecasting.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Contribute to operations using procurement tools and stock tracking.
• Participate in EHS initiatives and environmental projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements.
