Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in the United Kingdom is offering an internship in the Single Aisle Structures area. You will work in wing manufacturing operations, participating in finance, lean improvements and supplier interactions while rotating across departments for broad exposure.

Undergraduate students with a drive for problem solving are encouraged to apply. The placement supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements, with a focus on developing project management and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge on lean manufacturing methods.
• Good communication skills in written and oral form.
• High level of understanding of G Suite incl. Google Slides and Sheets.
• Studying towards a degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Finance management including budgeting and project forecasting.
• Shop Floor workshops—removing wastes, improving efficiencies using lean principles.
• Utilisation of Airbus processes and leading projects to change processes.
• Supporting operations using Click ‘n’ Buy to purchase materials, negotiate with suppliers, and track stock.
• Supporting the Environmental Health and Safety controller in related improvements.
• Training and stakeholder management to deliver to customers.
