Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in the UK offers a 12.5-month internship in the wings manufacturing domain at Broughton, North Wales. You will join the Improvement & Performance Management team and help lead projects, gain hands-on data analysis experience, and support operational management across departments.

The role requires undergraduates studying Business or Engineering, a basic grasp of lean methods, and strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate status for the entire placement.
• Studying towards a degree in Business or Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing methods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to develop project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Finance management and budgeting support.
• Lean principles and waste reduction activities on the shop floor.
• Support project management and process changes.
• Use Click ’n’ Buy to purchase materials and track stock.
• Collaborate with operational production teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to environmental, health and safety improvement projects.
• Assist in training and knowledge sharing.
