Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in North Wales offers an internship in the ISS department starting 16 August 2027 for 12.5 months. You will join the panel machining and process improvement work, gaining hands-on exposure to the manufacturing enablement and planning for future rate ramp-ups.

As a student, you will support senior leaders, attend reviews, prepare progress reports and KPIs, and lead small improvement projects while developing project management and analytical skills in a dynamic,

Qualifications

• Open to undergraduates for the full duration of the placement.
• CV and Cover Letter outlining motivation and suitability are requested.
• Study in Business or related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
• Willingness to learn and engage in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the lineside enablement teams and learn wing manufacture processes.
• Attend high-level reviews and produce progress reports, KPIs and delivery metrics.
• Assist ISS management and drive end-to-end improvement projects.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvements and risks.
• Help build risk/opportunity trackers and support future-proofing efforts.
