Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an Operations Lead/Supervisor to oversee shift-based teams at one of our sites in Tees Valley. You’ll be the first point of contact on shift and drive adherence to safety, quality, and productivity plans.

This hands-on role involves monitoring workflows, coaching staff, and collaborating with other departments to resolve issues and improve processes. You’ll gain experience with the tools and systems that power Amazon’s last-mile operations.

Qualifications

• Experience using MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.
• Advanced proficiency in local language (CEFR C1) in written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Measure and monitor workflows, track onsite performance, and provide shift information to frontline management.
• Train and supervise employees to deliver great service and support daily tasks.
• Assist the Shift/Area Manager with projects to improve processes, safety, and workforce engagement.
• Collaborate with other departments to address issues and support needs in key performance areas.
• Use data analysis to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality and productivity.
