Job summary

Goddard Veterinary Group is seeking an organised, proactive Operations Officer for our Head Office at Claygate House, Woodford Green, on a 15-month maternity cover contract starting January 2027.

Based at Claygate House with the option to work remotely up to two days per week, you will support day-to-day operations, coordinate requests, manage complaints, and assist HR, Health & Safety and Regional Management teams to keep processes running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations support or executive assistance.
• Experience supporting senior managers and coordinating processes across teams.
• Strong organisational and administrative capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a key point of contact for operational queries and support requests from our practices.
• Supporting the HR Manager with HR administration processes.
• Providing admin support to Health & Safety and helping keep processes organised and up to date.
• Assisting the Regional Management Team with operational administration and day-to-day requirements.
• Supporting credit control and accounts payable processes when required.
• Administering the complaints process and coordinating responses with colleagues.
• Liaising with suppliers and contractors to coordinate maintenance and purchase of equipment.
