Job summary

Kaluza is hiring a Business Operations Engineer to own the technical systems powering Product & Tech Business Operations. You’ll manage Jira architectures, data pipelines, dashboards, and integrations with enterprise platforms, collaborating with the Business Operations Manager to scope and build solutions.

You’ll apply an AI-first mindset, ensure security and compliance, and seek opportunities to streamline operations while maintaining clear trade-offs and delivery paths.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years building and maintaining operational tooling; ownership of what you ship.
• Experience with Jira (JQL) and Confluence; configuring for complex structures.
• Experience building data pipelines or automated workflows; keep them reliable at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Jira and other data systems to support complex business operations.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards turning raw data into decision signals.
• Identify opportunities for new capabilities and design solutions aligned with the product & delivery enablement direction.
• Integrate internal products and platforms (Workday, internal tools) and advise on build vs. buy decisions.
• Anticipate security, compliance and regulatory constraints upfront and navigate systems accordingly.
• Spot issues in data, processes, or tools and fix them proactively.
• Iterate on operational tooling, testing new approaches and sharing learnings with the team.
