Job summary

Kaluza Ltd. is building and evolving its internal developer platform to empower software teams.

You’ll influence how cloud infrastructure is used, reduce toil, boost productivity, reinforce security and drive cost efficiencies across operations. You’ll work on Engineering Foundations, Automation & Tooling, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Helm and Crossplane, and contribute to monitoring, security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience building and shipping production applications.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitOps and IaC technologies.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Foundations: Engineer a scalable, reliable and developer friendly platform to promote seamless software development, deployment and operations.
• Automation & Tooling: Develop tools to abstract the complex aspects of the platform from developers to improve developer experience and operational efficiency.
• Infrastructure as Code: Use Terraform, Helm and Crossplane to manage and automate provisioning of all cloud infrastructure and champion GitOps best practices.
• Monitoring & Observability: Establish robust monitoring and logging foundations collaborating with the wider Site Reliability Engineering Function.
• Security & Reliability: Incorporate security best practices, ensure compliance, and participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota to troubleshoot and prevent recurrent issues.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate upgrades and hold service providers accountable.
