Kaluza is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Data Platform and Analytics Engineering teams. You will shape data architecture, deliver production pipelines, and partner with product to prioritise work across data ingestion, modelling and governance.

Based in London, Bristol or Edinburgh with hybrid working, you will mentor engineers and analysts, drive technical excellence, and align with data leadership to deliver impact for energy platforms and customers globally.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of data-oriented teams delivering production pipelines.
• Strong architectural thinking for data platforms and data marts.
• Experience with modern analytics stack (SQL, Python, BI tools) and cloud services.
• Hands-on in building robust ETL/ELT processes and governance.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Staff management of Data Platform and Analytics Engineering teams.
• Scope and lead data engineering projects across the platform.
• Drive design and building of data models and production pipelines.
• Collaborate with product management to prioritise work by business impact.
• Own security, risk, compliance and incidents related to Data Platform.
• Promote Agile delivery and continuous improvement.
