As Operations Coordinator, you will assist in coordinating the TPN operations team by offering support and assistance to network members, following TPN procedures and rules, and ensuring the company's interests are protected.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract – maternity cover.

Shift Pattern: 45 hours per week, with 9-hour shifts on a rota basis between 06:00 and 19:00, including Saturday morning overtime on a rota basis.

Pay rate: £12.04 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with all Partners.
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments.
  • Handle Partner requests via telephone and email.
  • Mediating between Partners in disagreement, ensuring actions align with the Pallet Network operation manual.
  • Assist members with arranging overspill vehicles and couriers.
  • Perform administrative duties as required.
  • Address problems promptly, exploring all options before organizing couriers.
  • Update the hub information board regarding daily operations.
  • Ensure proper handover from the Night Manager and compile handovers for night shifts.
  • Mediating disputes between Partners per network rules.
  • Refer unresolved issues to the Team Leader/Line Manager.
  • Raise company Purchase Orders as needed.
  • Notify the Operations Manager of any issues affecting the company.
  • Maintain good relationships with Partners and colleagues, liaising fairly and without favoritism.
  • Ensure clear communication during shift handovers.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn bespoke systems.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to investigate and solve problems.
