Job summary

Tate Recruitment is partnering with a growing specialist industrial repair solutions business to recruit an Operations Coordinator. You will ensure technicians are mobilised efficiently across the UK and internationally, coordinating travel, logistics and customer communications to deliver a first-class service.

Ideal candidates are highly organised, with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within operations, logistics, coordination or scheduling.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Calm under pressure and able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technician schedules and emergency mobilisations across the UK and internationally.
• Handle incoming customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Organise flights, hotels, vehicle hire and accommodation for technicians.
• Liaise with customers, technicians, carriers and warehouse teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Monitor ongoing jobs and resolve logistical challenges proactively.
• Maintain records and update internal systems including CRM platforms.

As an Operations Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring technicians are mobilised efficiently across the UK and internationally, coordinating travel, logistics and customer communication to deliver an exceptional service.

What you'll be doing:

• Coordinating technician schedules and emergency repair mobilisations
• Handling incoming customer enquiries and emergency calls professionally and efficiently
• Organising flights, hotels, vehicle hire and accommodation for technicians
• Liaising with customers, technicians, carriers and warehouse teams to ensure seamless project delivery
• Monitoring ongoing jobs and proactively resolving logistical challenges
• Managing equipment movements, packing lists and shipping documentation
• Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems including CRM platforms
• Supporting day-to-day operational administration and reporting
• Building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

About you:

• Previous experience within operations, logistics, coordination or scheduling
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Calm under pressure and able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Confident using business systems, databases and Microsoft Office
• A proactive team player who enjoys taking ownership and solving problems
