Job summary

EVRi International, York Site at Allerthorpe Business Park, York Road, York, United Kingdom, is seeking an Operations Controller on a permanent basis. The role is 40 hours, days, Monday to Friday, based in York, performing pre-brief/de-brief tasks and driver documentation, ensuring accurate records and smooth daily operations.

You will communicate with drivers and customers via Company IT systems, manage admin tasks, and support health and safety compliance, with a friendly, proactive team

Responsibilities

• Assist in Pre-Brief/De-Brief and complete driver documentation.
• Maintain company documentation and communicate with drivers and customers via IT systems.
• Handle admin tasks and produce daily/monthly reporting.
• Support asset management, container portal updates and filing.
• Deal with customer queries via company IT systems.
• Perform reasonable requests from a Manager/Supervisor.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and timekeeping guidelines.

What You’ll Do

You will assist in the Pre-Brief/De-Brief and complete Driver documentation. You will also complete and maintain the company documentation and communicate with Drivers and Customers via telephone and the appropriate company IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Driver pre-brief or evening de-brief as required.
• Control company asset management, notably container portal updates, daily container counts, key and scanner controls.
• Check SP payments and issue associated daily/monthly reporting.
• Complete all admin tasks and maintain a suitable filing system including SP/employee vetting, driver set up processes, ID badge ordering.
• Deal with customer queries via Company IT systems.
• Perform any reasonable request from a Manager/Supervisor.
• Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures in line with Site Risk Assessments.
• Adhere to Company guidelines regarding timekeeping, attendance, work performance, appearance and behaviour on site.
