Job summary

Evri in York is seeking an Operations Controller to join our UK parcel delivery network. The role facilitates driver briefs, maintains vital documentation and handles communications with drivers and customers using our IT systems.

You’ll manage asset controls, reporting, and filing while supporting a safe, efficient on-site operation. We require practical administration experience, a flexible, team-focused approach and knowledge of industry best practices.

• Assist in the Pre-Brief/De-Brief and complete Driver documentation.
• Complete and maintain the company documentation.
• Communicate with Drivers and Customers via telephone and company IT Systems.
• Manage admin tasks and filing including SP/employee vetting, driver setup processes, ID badge ordering.
• Deal with customer queries via Company IT systems.
• Follow Health and Safety policies and site risk assessments.

WhatYou’llDo:

You willassistin the Pre-Brief/De-Brief and complete Driver documentation. You will also complete andmaintainthe company documentation. As well as communicating with Drivers and Customers via telephone andappropriate companyIT Systems.

Key Role Responsibilities

• Driver pre-brief or evening de-brief asrequired
• Control company asset management, notably container portal updates, daily container counts,keyand scanner controls
• Check SP payments and issue associated daily/monthly reporting
• Complete all admin tasks andmaintaina suitable filing system including SP/employee vetting, driver set up processes, ID badge ordering
• Deal with customer queries via Company IT systems
• Any reasonable request from a Manager/Supervisor
• All Health and Safety policies and procedures arecomplied with(asstatedin the employee handbook/displayed at the location) in line with Site Risk Assessments
• Comply withCompany guidelines in relation to timekeeping, attendance, work performance, appearance and displayappropriate behaviourwhilst on site.
