Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited is seeking an Operations Assistant for Reading (RG30 6BX) to join Plumb Centre. The role involves general warehouse duties, picking/packing, loading/unloading, and supporting the Trade Counter with customer service.

• Full UK manual driving license is preferable - to cover driver holidays.

• Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

As an Operations Assistant based in Reading, you’ll be responsible for:

• General Warehouse duties.
• Picking and packing stock, which will involve heavy lifting and manual handling of heavy items like boilers, radiators, toilets etc.
• Loading/unloading vehicles safely.
• Ensuring the workplace is tidy and adheres to our health and safety procedures.
• You will need to support the Trade Counter as required providing exceptional customer service at all times.

The role is full time, permanent position, 40hrs per week, Monday-Friday 07:00-16:00. Alternate Saturdays 08:00-12:00 after probation, paid as overtime.
