Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited is recruiting an Operations Assistant in Peterborough to join our busy warehouse and trade counter team. You will handle picking/packing, loading/unloading, and provide excellent customer service while keeping the workspace safe and organised.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with a competitive salary plus bonus and attractive benefits including pension, annual leave, healthcare and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience working with customers in a retail or trade environment.
• Experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines.
• Capacity to handle physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• General warehouse duties including picking and packing.
• Loading/unloading vehicles and maintaining a tidy workplace.
• Support the Trade Counter with excellent customer service.
• Work Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week.

General Warehouse duties

• Picking and packing stock, which will involve some heavy lifting
• Loading/unloading vehicles safely
• Ensuring the workplace is tidy and adheres to our health and safety procedures
• You will need to support the Trade Counter as required providing exceptional customer service at all times.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 45 hours Monday to Friday.
