Job summary

William Wilson, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring a Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver 3.5t in Cupar/Fife. The role combines warehouse duties with local delivery, serving trade customers and ensuring accurate paperwork.

The successful candidate will hold a full UK driving licence, have a proactive customer-service mindset, and be willing to work 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with Saturday rota as needed.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Plumbing & Heating knowledge advantageous.
• Prior multi-drop experience preferred.
• Face-to-face sales and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5t automatic van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies within a 30 mile radius.
• Assist customers at the trade counter with advice and product recommendations.
• Respond to customer enquiries by phone or email promptly and courteously.
• Check delivery paperwork and handle stock in the warehouse.
• Pack items for delivery and perform light manual handling of heavy items.

As a Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver 3.5t based in Cupar/Fife , you’ll be responsible for:

• Driving a 3.5t automatic van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to local customers - generally within a 30 mile radius
• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
• Ensuring that all incoming deliveries comply with the delivery paperwork, handle discrepancies appropriately and put stock away in the warehouse
• Picking and packing items to fulfil customer requirements which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, sinks, radiators, and toilets

This is a Full Time permanent position working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00 pm and Saturday on a rota basis 09.00am - 12.00pm.
