Job summary

Plumb Centre in Cambridge is seeking an Operations Assistant to join our branch team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will work in the warehouse picking and packing goods, putting away deliveries, and supporting the trade counter to ensure customer requirements are met.

The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:00am–16:00, with Saturday mornings 08:00–12:00 on a rota. Warehouse experience is essential and a strong team ethic is required.

Responsibilities

As an Operations Assistant based in Cambridge you will be responsible for:

• Working within the warehouse picking/packing goods
• Putting away deliveries into allocated areas
• Assisting the team in all areas of the branch including the trade counter and where needed to ensure customer requirements are met
• Manual handling and using lifting equipment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:00am - 16:00pm and Saturday mornings 08:00am - 12:00pm on a rota basis.
