Job summary

Crerar Hotels is seeking an Operations and F&B Manager to oversee all hotel departments with a focus on the F&B operation. You will work closely with the General Manager to drive service standards, manage budgets and P&L, and ensure guest satisfaction across our Lake District and Scotland hotels.

This full-time role requires weekend work, strong PMS/POS knowledge, and a background in senior hotel management.

Qualifications

• Senior hotel management experience or equivalent leadership background.
• Background in management or related degree, with strong PMS/POS knowledge.
• Excellent multi-tasking and stress management in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all departmental operations with a focus on F&B to ensure smooth hotel running.
• Collaborate with General Manager on budget and P&L reviews and stock yield management.
• Train and develop staff, handle guest inquiries, and drive upselling to enhance guest experience.

With experience in a senior management position at a quality hotel and a background in either a Management degree or equivalent industry experience, you will bring a strong understanding of PMS/POS systems and a high level of professionalism to the role. This full-time, flexible position requires working weekends and involves collaborating closely with all hotel departments to anticipate and exceed guest expectations. Your ability to stay calm under pressure and multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be key. You will work directly with the General Manager to achieve the hotel’s vision and strategy, contribute to budget and P&L reviews, and take responsibility for stock yield and management. In addition, you'll handle guest inquiries, train and develop staff, and leverage your knowledge of the hotel’s amenities to drive upselling and enhance the overall guest experience.
