Job summary

Crerar Hotels is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to lead the restaurant and bar teams across our hotels in Scotland and the Lake District. You will supervise staff, organise service, and ensure guest satisfaction through collaborative teamwork with kitchen, reception and bar.

The role emphasises hands-on leadership, strong guest service, and a commitment to maintaining Crerar Hotels’ high standards of operation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train restaurant staff to ensure service consistency.
• Organise and prepare for service, coordinating with front-of-house and kitchen teams.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen, reception and bar to ensure seamless guest experience.
• Manage rotas and orders to optimise staffing and inventory.
• Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the dining area.
• Foster a supportive, positive work environment and motivate the team.
