Job summary

Hadley Learning Community in Hadley, Telford, is seeking an experienced Operational SEND Lead to join the Inclusion Team. You will work with the SENDCo, senior leaders and external agencies to identify, support and fully include pupils in all aspects of school life.

The role requires a strong track record in supporting children with SEND, a solid understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and the ability to lead inclusion and intervention staff to deliver high-quality provision.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engage, enthuse and motivate students.
• Support pupils with SEND and additional barriers to learning.
• Understand the SEND Code of Practice and graduated approach.
• Maintain accurate SEND records, provision maps and Individual Support Plans.
• Support and quality assure APDR processes.
• Coordinate with parents, carers and external agencies to support pupils.
• Lead inclusion and intervention staff to ensure high quality provision.
• Demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and analytical skills.
• Commit to ensuring every child can achieve, participate, belong and succeed.
• Demonstrate resilience, initiative and a solution-focused approach.
