Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is seeking an Operational Management Information Developer in Hull to turn data into actionable insights and influence decision making within the Working Age Services Directorate.

You will work with Operations, Digital teams, and senior stakeholders to develop performance measures, test hypotheses, and deliver data-driven improvements across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.

Qualifications

• Experience turning data into insight to support decision making.
• Develop performance measures and indicators for services.
• Proficiency with Power BI or similar visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Produce insightful management information and visualisations to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Develop robust analytical products using SQL and related languages.
• Combine data from multiple sources to identify trends and inform improvements.
• Lead analytical and performance improvement projects with competing priorities.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels to influence decisions.
• Present complex data findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative working environment and drive continuous improvement.
